1. WHAT IS NUTRIBULLET BLENDER?
A Nutribullet blender is a small countertop blender that can be used to blend and mix healthy smoothies and juices. It has powerful blades that can break down the cell walls of fruits and vegetables to release all their nutrients, vitamins, minerals and enzymes. But despite its high power motor (about 700 watts), it is still important to make sure your Nutribullet blender is thoroughly cleaned after use.
You can see How to Clean Nutribullet Blender as below.
2. WHAT ARE BENEFITS OF A NUTRIBULLET BLENDER?
A Nutribullet blender is a powerful tool for making healthy smoothies. It can be used as a replacement to some high-end blenders as it has the power to blend and mix fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts and other ingredients into smooth juices or healthy shakes. A Nutribullet mixer is very durable, lasting several years without breaking down.
There are How to Clean Nutribullet Blender as below.
3. WHAT WE NEED TO CONSIDER BEFORE BUYING A NUTRIBULLET BLENDER?
Capacity: Before buying a Nutribullet blender, it is important to know how much you will need to use it. For instance, if you are planning to blend only one or two servings of smoothies on a regular basis, then a 600-watt blender might be sufficient for your needs.
However, if you need a blender that can make several servings at once and store them in the fridge or freezer for later use, then a 900-watt machine may be more suitable.
Parts: A Nutribullet mixer comes with several pieces such as cups/tumblers/jars and lids so it is important to consider this before buying as there are some parts that should not be used interchangeably. In addition, some blenders come with several extras such as recipes, books, DVDs and additional nozzles, so it is important to consider these before buying.
Functions: The functions of a Nutribullet blender may vary depending on the model you buy. However, most blenders come with the following features: pulse mode, heating function (for warming soups or sauces), pre-programmed settings (smoothies, shakes and dips) and others.
Easy to use and clean: A Nutribullet blender is a powerful tool, so it should have some safety features such as a lid lock system to avoid unwanted accidents. In addition, the parts of a blender should be dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.
Price: Like any other appliance, a Nutribullet blender will cost some money. However, compared to traditional blenders and mixers, the price of a Nutribullet blender is significantly lower. In addition, most blenders come with a money-back guarantee so you can try it without feeling any risk.

4. HOW TO CLEAN NUTRIBULLET BLENDER? THE 6 EASY STEPS TO FOLLOW
The first step in how to clean a Nutribullet blender is to remove all its parts such as cups/tumblers/jars and lids. Make sure that these are thoroughly washed before putting them back in the base. There are several different parts that make up your Nutribullet blender (or any other countertop blender).
You should clean each part thoroughly after use to prevent buildup of food residue and ensure efficient operation of the machine in future uses. Here are 6 steps to follow when cleaning your Nutribullet blender:
Clean the pitcher/container.
The first step to cleaning your Nutribullet blender is to remove all foods items from the container. If there are any stubborn chunks of food stuck in the blades, use a spatula or spoon to manually remove them.
Then place some water inside the pitcher and turn on the machine for about 15 seconds to help with loosening up any leftover food residue that is still clinging onto the sides of the container. Once you have finished this step, pour out the water and dry off any excess moisture around the opening of the container before placing it back on your countertop blender base unit.
Cleaning Base Unit.
The next thing you must do is to clean the Nutribullet blender base unit. Make sure it is unplugged before performing any cleaning so that you don’t accidentally shock yourself with the metal prongs on the outlet.
Use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior of the base, taking care not to get water inside any openings or crevices where dirt could accumulate over time. Wipe dry with a paper towel and move onto step 3 below.
Clean Blade.
Next up, remove your blade from its adapter by twisting it counterclockwise until it separates from the adaptor ring at the bottom of your container. If there are any stubborn pieces of food stuck between your blades, use a toothbrush to manually scrub them clean (be careful not to damage your blade by scrubbing too hard).
Then soak your blade in a container with warm water and dish soap for about 15 minutes to help loosen up any food residue. Once you have finished this step, rinse out your blade thoroughly with fresh water and dry it off before returning it back to the adapter.
Clean Adaptor Ring.
After cleaning your blade, place some water inside the now empty Nutribullet blender container and turn on the machine for another 15 seconds or so to loosen up any leftover bits of food that could still be clinging onto your adaptor ring at the bottom of the pitcher.
After you have finished this step, pour out the water and give everything a good wipe down with a damp cloth (be sure to wipe down any grooves that have been made from your blades). You can then dry off with a paper towel and move on to the next step.
Clean Lid.
Remove you lid from its adaptor ring by twisting it counter clockwise until it separates from the adaptor ring at the top of your pitcher. Use a damp cloth or paper towel to thoroughly clean all sides of your lid, being careful not to get any water inside the adaptor ring up above where your blade fits back into place after cleaning (this is why you should wait until now to clean out this area).
Once you are finished, rinse out any leftover soap residue with fresh water and dry off completely before returning your back to its base adapter.
Clean Adaptor Ring.
Place some water inside your clean pitcher and turn on the machine for another 15 seconds or so to loosen up any leftover food particles that might still be clinging onto your adaptor ring at the top of your container. Then simply pour out the water and give it a quick wipe down with a damp cloth before drying off with a paper towel.
And there you have it! Six easy steps to cleaning your Nutribullet blender and making sure it is always running in tip top shape, ready for use whenever you need it!
5. HOW TO MAINTAIN A NUTRIBULLET BLENDER?
The Nutribullet Blender is one of the highest rated blenders at their price point, and for good reason. It’s incredibly powerful for how compact it is, and its user friendly design make it ideal for anyone who wants to start making smoothies on a daily basis.
While the blade in your Nutribullet blender may not be sharp enough to make nut butters or really tough ingredients like raw carrots, using this machine will help you ease into eating healthier food like berries or leafy greens that would otherwise land in the trash bin.
However, every kitchen appliance has an element of upkeep that must be done if you want to keep it in working condition; even high end blenders like Vitamix require regular cleaning in order to keep their blades in tip top shape.
The Nutribullet however, is somewhere in the middle when it comes to upkeep – not nearly as difficult as a full sized blender, but still requiring more steps than just running water through the container before every use.
In this guide, I will explain exactly how you can clean your blade and maintain your machine for optimal performance at all times so that you never have to deal with those stressful moments where you are scrambling around trying to find ingredients to make a smoothie while missing several key ingredients. In order to do so, follow these six easy steps:
Pre-Clean – Before cleaning out or removing anything from your Nutribullet blender pitcher , turn on the machine for 15 seconds with some water and a drop of dish soap inside to help loosen up any chunks of food that might still be inside your machine.
After you have done this, simply turn the machine off again by pressing the power button in the center, then use a paper towel or hand towel to wipe down all sides of your blade assembly at the bottom.
Unscrew Adaptor Ring – Take out your blade assembly from your lid adaptor ring by placing one finger on either side of the F button located underneath it (on top) and turning it counter clockwise until it easily unscrews away from where it is attached at the top of your pitcher.
Be sure not to remove this adaptor ring completely – instead, leave about half an inch of it still attached to the top so that it creates a watertight seal.
Clean Adaptor Ring – Place some water inside your clean pitcher and turn on the machine for another 15 seconds or so to loosen up any leftover food particles that might still be clinging onto your adaptor ring at the top of your container. Then simply pour out the water and give it a quick wipe down with a damp cloth before drying off with a paper towel.
Wipe Down Blade Assembly – Once you have removed this from your adaptor ring, take apart each individual piece and place them all inside your sink (keeping track of which part goes where). Start by using a toothbrush (preferably not one you use for brushing teeth) to clean off any chunks of food that might still be clinging onto the blade itself.
Then take a wet rag and wipe down the inside of this container where you unscrewed your adaptor ring from. Finally, give each part a good rinse in your sink before plopping them all back together in one piece and placing it back into your blender to see if it can spin freely without scraping or grinding against anything.
Wipe Down Container – After you have done all the cleaning for the actual blade, place some water inside your pitcher along with a drop of dish soap and turn on machine for another 15 seconds to loosen up even more stuck-on food particles at the bottom – then pour out that water and give it a quick wipe down before rinsing out with fresh water and patting dry.
Clean Lid and Sip & Seal Lids – To clean the top part where you remove your sip-and-seal lids, simply slide it in and out of the lid adaptor ring several times to loosen up any leftover food particles stuck inside there; then take a damp rag and wipe both parts down (just like you did for the blade assembly).
If you follow these steps carefully without skipping anything, not only should your blade spin freely once everything is back together, but if done regularly even after just a few uses will ensure that no chunks of food ever stick to your container again.

TIPS AND GUIDES ON HOW TO CLEAN NUTRIBULLET BLENDER.
1. SOME TIPS ON HOW TO CLEAN NUTRIBULLET BLENDER.
Do Not let the blender run for too long.
Before blend, put some water with a drop of dish soap inside your Nutribullet to help loosen up any chunks of food that might still be stuck on top of your blade assembly at the bottom.
Remove the adaptor ring first before digging into all other parts by rotating counter clockwise until it easily unscrews away from where it is attached at the center-top part of your pitcher.
After taking apart your blade assembly, give each individual piece a good rinse in your sink to ensure they are fully clean before re-assembling them back together.
Avoid running tap water directly onto the motor because this can cause rust or wear out its insides. Instead, dribble water onto your rag and wipe down the entire casing as well as the bottom part where you unscrewed your adaptor ring from.
Scrape off any chunks of food still stuck onto your drink lid with a toothpick before placing it back on top of your pitcher to continue blending away – this helps prevent them from getting stuck inside your sip-and-seal lids.

3. COMMON MISTAKES ON HOW TO CLEAN NUTRIBULLET BLENDER.
Rinsing by water and dishwashing soap after every use is most time consuming and most commonly done include:
Not using a scrubber or brush to clean your blades will cause dirt to buildup on the blade which in turn causes smoothies to be thicker, grainy and slower when you start blending next time (dirty blender blades can also cause unpleasant smell).
Blender container is usually cleaned with plenty of hot soapy water and maybe rinse it dry before storing in your cabinets (this includes sticking toothpick inside the container in effort to get out bits and pieces of food leftovers stuck there).
You can also use a bit of dishwashing liquid on your scrubber or brush to clean blades and blender container properly which is most commonly done by people who own more than one Nutribullet blender (including yours truly).
Spending too much time scraping down the sides of the cup with dirty spatula which only result in smears all over the place, it’s even worse when you do this after cleaning everything by water and dishwashing soap because it leaves behind more sticky gunk that get stick back onto surfaces where they were before cleaning.
Add ingredients before adding water always results in thicker smoother smoothies but nutrients are still locked inside whole good stuff you placed into blend (with some exceptions like kale, ginger root and mint which you should add before adding water).
Keeping your lids open so it’s exposed to dirty kitchen air after every use is a bad idea because that’s where most bacteria growth happens in any blender including Nutribullet.
Only using the regular small feeder cap when making smoothies will cause food chunks to get stuck inside the blades’ gaps rather than going through whole into pitcher (this includes doing this when making frozen desserts like sorbets, ice creams or nice cream).
Not cleaning Nutribullet blender between each use thoroughly will result in lots of disgusting gunk buildup inside between blades and around base unit which causes additional effort when it comes time when you have to clean everything when it’s time to do so.
Cutting your vegetables before making smoothies in Nutribullet blender is also a bad idea because you’re mostly wasting space inside cup which could be used for fruits or other ingredients because they will fit in there even if you cut them into smaller pieces (cut veggies only when using conventional blenders).
You can see How to Clean Nutribullet Blender as above.
4. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CLEAN NUTRIBULLET BLENDER?
I clean my own Nutribullet blender almost every time I use it, this is because my family and I drink a lot of smoothies which sometimes contains hard bits in them like chopped nuts, frozen berries and tough kale leaves.
5. HOW TO CLEAN NUTRIBULLET BLENDER WITH BLEACH?
Remove blade from central base unit by pushing down on both sides firmly until you hear a click sound
Next step would be to add about ½ cup of bleach into your pitcher followed by filling the rest of it up with hot tap water (bleach is optional but very effective way of cleaning your blender thoroughly including blades).
Slowly and carefully insert blade back into the pitcher on top of all the liquid and move it around so everything gets cleaned properly (this is also very effective way of cleaning your blades at home without spending more money on separate dishwashing liquid).
Let blender motor run for about 30 seconds to mix liquid inside before turning it off, then leave it to sit for 10 minutes before draining all liquid down sink using a large cup or bowl.
Rinse blade after 10 minutes by running tap water over both sides until you can no longer smell bleach anymore (please make sure you do not cut yourself when doing this step).
You can clean lid and small feeder cap with plenty of hot water and washing up liquid before rinsing everything with plenty of hot tap water.
Take extra care when cleaning blender base unit using wet cloth to wipe away all sticky bits or grime buildup on it without smearing them around (please note that you should not soak central motor unit in any liquids because this will damage your warranty).
To dry off Nutribullet blender simply shake out as much excess water as possible before wiping down entire surface with kitchen towel until completely dry, leave central motor unit until last to avoid getting any moisture inside it which could cause damage over time (you should also do the same thing every time you clean your own Nutribullet blender at home).
We introduce How to Clean Nutribullet Blender as above.
6. WHEN TO REPLACE NUTRIBULLET BLADES?
You should replace Nutribullet blender blades every 3 to 6 months depending on how often do you use it because the ones which come with your unit are not made from stainless steel and therefore after a while their sharpness starts wearing off.
7. OTHER TIPS FOR NUTRIBULLET USERS:
Do not overfill Nutribullet 900 watt(2) or 600 watt(3) blender more than 2/3 full when making smoothies, if you need help for this please watch videos from Internet about how much ingredients should be used in different blenders including Nutribullet models which you own (in case of motor failure due to overfilling your warranty will be voided).
Always pour liquids into central tube first before adding any solids to avoid jamming up Nutribullet blades, if you need help on how to make smoothies with your blender please watch YouTube videos about it (in case of motor failure due to incorrect blending technique warranty will be voided).
New Pro 900 watt and Pro 600 watt models require breaking in period before reaching full performance so do not expect them work as fast as professional blenders or high speed models from competing brands when making smoothies at home.
Nutri Ninja blenders are very similar to Nutribullets and their replacement parts can be used in both brand’s products and vice versa (this is something that we should all keep in mind when we start looking for spare parts, don’t you think?).
Try to avoid using frozen fruits and ice cubes with Nutribullet and Ninja blenders because they could cause damage their motors over time (in case of motor failure warranty will be voided).
All new Nutribullet models come with 2 years warranty on motor and 1 year warranty on all other parts which is very generous offer from company’s headquarters but do not expect them to last forever especially if you constantly use your blender(s) at maximum speed(s), please keep this in mind before making any purchase.

FAQS ABOUT HOW TO CLEAN NUTRIBULLET BLENDER.
1. Question: How often should I clean my Nutribullet Blender?
Answer: You should clean your Nutribullet blender every time after using it because the longer you wait with cleaning it, the harder job will be to do.
2. Question: What is the best way to clean my brand new Nutribullet?
Answer: To make sure that all parts of your new unit are squeaky clean and ready for use next time after washing them in hot soapy water we recommend rinsing everything off under running tap water before adding some fresh tap water and 2 drops of lemon juice inside central tube while blending on highest speed for 30 seconds.
Tthis mixture will also help you get rid of any metallic taste from newly purchased Nutribullet). Rinse blade assembly, add some more fresh water and blend again on highest speed for another 30 seconds – you will be amazed how much whiter your Nutribullet blender parts are now!
Please see steps on How to Clean Nutribullet Blender as above.
3. Question: I have already used my Nutribullet multiple times after purchasing it but the blades are still not as white as they are on your photos, why?
Answer: On our photo above you can see brand new blade assembly which comes with every new model of Nutribullet blender.
This blade assembly should be used only once to make sure that it is properly broken in before using it again because each time you use one of these first few blending sessions for second or third time there is a possibility that even more wear and tear could damage already fragile components inside this part which could result in malfunctioning of your Nutribullet in future.
Please refer How to Clean Nutribullet Blender as above.
4. Question: How often should I replace Nutribullet blade assembly?
Answer: We recommend replacing blade assembly every 4-6 months to ensure that your blender continues operating at fast speeds because after time even the most durable materials become worn out and are no longer able to reach their full potential when used for blending.
5. Question: What is the best way to clean my used blade assembly which still has food particles stuck inside?
Answer: To properly remove all dried up food particles from inside of used blade unit please place it under running tap water before adding some fresh tap water and 2 drops of dishwashing liquid or lemon juice on top.
Blend on highest speed for 30 seconds, rinse again with tap water and add some more fresh tap water before blending on highest speed for another 30 seconds – this time you can expect all food particles to be gone.
You can see How to Clean Nutribullet Blender as above.
6. Question: Can I put my used blade assembly in the dishwasher?
Answer: We do not recommend placing your Nutribullet’s blade assembly inside dishwasher after each use because it is impossible to properly clean every crack and crevice which could get dirty again very soon resulting in malfunctioning of your blender (please note that all other parts of freshly bought and already used Nutribullet are perfectly suitable for washing inside dishwasher).
7. Question: My blade assembly has stopped working after making one smoothie, what should I do now?
Answer: If you suspect that your blade assembly has stopped working after making just one smoothie then the only way to find out what exactly is wrong with it is by disassembling it. Unscrew 6 main cap nuts, unscrew central tube from inside of blade assembly and carefully take everything apart to get access to all hidden components inside.
Rinse blade assembly under running tap water, dry all parts with a towel before putting everything back together again in reverse order (you should also make sure that your new blade assembly which you will be using next time works properly by following instructions above).
We introduce How to Clean Nutribullet Blender as above.
8. Question: How can I prevent my Nutribullet blender from leaking?
Answer: Your brand new Nutribullet blender comes equipped with removable silicone seal plug at the end of its power base which is designed to prevent any ingredients from leaking out of your blender while blending.
To ensure that this plug does its job properly please make sure to clean it after each use, remove all leftover chunks stuck on top of this plug with a metal spoon before placing it back inside of power base, screw 6 main cap nuts on power base tightly until they will not go any more and then finally push central metal spike into the center of silicone seal plug.
(This way you can be 100% confident in knowing that every time you start making your favorite smoothies with your Nutribullet blender nothing will leak out).
9. Question: How long should I blend my smoothie?
Answer: Blending times for different types of smoothies will vary so the only way to know how long you should blend your particular smoothie is by reading special instructions included with your recipe book.
If no specific blending times are given for certain fruit or vegetable smoothies then I recommend using at least 30 seconds for all of them (this time will be enough to make sure that food ingredients are properly blended together creating very tasty and healthy drink).
You can see steps on How to Clean Nutribullet Blender as above.
10. Question: How can I prevent my Nutribullet from leaking if I use it without central plug?
Answer: Removable silicone seal plugs which come pre-installed on brand new Nutribullets are designed to replace stainless steel spike which comes already installed inside of power base when you first buy this blender, but this does not mean that other types of smoothies which you might make in the future will not create a mess while blending.
If you want to prevent any leaks from happening while making certain types of fruit or vegetable smoothies then what you should do is simply remove central plug from power base by unscrewing 6 main cap nuts which come already attached on top of it.
Carefully pull metal spike out of its housing and clean both parts with some mild dishwashing soap before placing them back inside of power base together (make sure that silicone seal plug gets inserted into center slot where metal spike was located just like it was before when you removed it).
CONCLUSION.
Nutribullet blenders are a great way to make healthy, delicious smoothies and other blended beverages.
